Guinness The Rambunctious Retriever

Q: What’s your full name?
A: Guinness Sinnock
Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: I am a very happy, easy-going guy. I’m protective of my family and friends so I bark at the doorbell, the lawn mower and the garbage cans when they get rolled out to the street. I will sit so close to you I’m practically on top of you and like to sleep head-first under the covers, spooning with my mom.
Q: What’s your favorite vacation spot?
A: I love, love, love when I get to go, especially when it’s to my cabin in Lake Tahoe. Dad says this cool picture of me and my ball in the lake just screams Tahoe!
Q: And when you get to go along?
A: Guys, my cabin is so much fun! I chase my ball, go on walks, play with my friend Kobe, jump into snow drifts, swim in the biggest pool ever, and bark at real and imaginary wildlife. Bears, bobcats, bunnies, coyotes and raccoons, oh my! Did I mention chasing
my ball?
Q: Your best play spot?
A: I make the rounds in my neighborhood several times a day to say hello to neighbors and workers. If a garage door is open or there’s a new person, I’ll sit and stare until I know everything is okay. My mom says I’m nosy; I say I’m doing my job. I also love going to the greenbelt to chase the ball and play in what my mom says is the only mud puddle in Stockton.
Q: Are you ever a naughty dog?
A: My mom and dad couldn’t think of one single thing I’ve ever done, so I’m keeping my snout shut on this one!
Q: What’s your canine obsession?
A: Balls: tennis, Chuck-Its, squeaky ones, ones that glow in the dark, the ones that grow on my neighbor’s trees (oranges and lemons). I’m also obsessed with my best friends Rex, Zoey, Mogul, Baker and Joe. But most of all, I L-O-V-E my daddy!
Q: What’s your favorite treat?
A: The best days ever are the ones I spend helping my dad do absolutely anything.
Q: What’s your guilty pleasure?
A: I love peanut butter sandwiches with pills in them, Frost Paws ice cream cups, string cheese and cat poops(!). I also like to bask in the sunshine on my porch and bark at the cats/skunks/raccoons in my backyard from the safety of my house.
Q: Where do you go to get pampered?
A: I don’t really understand this question. Do you mean when I get stinky? I go swimming or get a bath in the shower (they put peanut butter on the wall!). My friends at Dr. Chad’s office will cut my nails, but I don’t really like it. I’d rather wear them down by chasing my ball in the street.
Q: Where were you adopted from?
A: I was born at Rooster Valley Labradors, south of Modesto. I was the runt from Annie and Oakley’s litter, coming into the world at a mere 7 ounces! Our family loves
Rooster Valley.
Q: What else should we know about you?
A: You can follow me and my bros on Instagram (@thesinnockzoo). My sister, Kelley, has Mogul, three, and my sister, Kimmie, has Baker, five months; we all have the same dad (they’re my brothers and my nephews)! Kimmie also has Joe; she says he’s a cat but I’m sure he’s just an odd-looking dog who likes to make biscuits on me. The four of us make up the Sinnock Zoo!
Q: Who are your human parents?
A: Donna and Steve Sinnock
