Tonka, Certified Therapy Dog

Q: What’s your full name?
A: Tonka Tilley aka Tonky. I’m a certified therapy dog serving patients at Dameron Hospital and Lodi Memorial Hospital.

Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: My personality is always happy go lucky. I am cuddly too.

Q: What’s your favorite vacation spot?
A: Anywhere that my mom takes me.

Q: And when you get to go along?
A: I love meeting new people and exploring new smells. I also love getting a puppachino on road trips.

Q: Your best play spot?
A: I love to go anywhere that has green grass to roll on, it feels so good.

Q: Do you have a guilty pleasure?
A: A pup patty from In and Out Burger and puppachinos. Any snuggles with Mom.

Q: Are you ever a naughty pup?
A: Mom says I am. I love to steal her shoes and run outside with them. Her designer eyeglasses taste good too, oh, and TV remotes.

Q: What’s your canine obsession?
A: Any item that belongs to my mom and food. I’m always trying to knock food out of her hand.

Q: What’s your favorite treat?
A: Everything. I’m not picky!

Q: Where do you go for pampering?
A: My favorite treatment is getting my ears cleaned and being brushed by Mom. It feels so good.

Q: What else should we know about you?
A: That I love to give and receive love! It’s my most favorite thing. I have a part-time job as a certified therapy dog with Animal Friends Connection. I love to go to Lodi Memorial and Dameron Hospital and meet my staff friends and the patients.

Q: Where were you born?
A: I was born at Oak Tree Hounds in Tehachapi, California. My mom said I was worth the trip.
