Marty McFly Crime-Fighting Canine
Q. What’s your full name?
A. Marty McFly
Q. Tell us about yourself.
A. I have a very energetic personality. I always love to be doing something, whether it’s going to work, playing ball or barking in my kennel. Rest is not an option!
Q. What’s your favorite vacation spot?
A. I love tagging along when my dad goes to play hockey in Reno. It’s probably the only time you will catch me relaxing in the car. Although the hockey rink is a little too loud for me, I know we will get to play ball at the park after!
Q. Your best play spot?
A. My favorite place to play is at the community park. There’s plenty of grass and space for me to chase my Chuck-It ball. The kids in the neighborhood will also come throw my ball for me too!
Q. What’s your guilty pleasure?
A. Anything I can chew! I love to pick up random things to chew like towels, stuffed animals and clothes. If I can pick it up, it’s mine!
Q. Are you ever a naughty canine?
A. I like to eat the headrests in the patrol car while my dad is working on reports.
Q. What’s your canine obsession?
A. I love my bite pillow. It’s a pillow I can chew on while I play tug of war with my dad. I refuse to let go until my dad lets me win!
Q. What’s your favorite treat?
A. I love pup cups! Whenever I do something good at work, we go to Starbucks or Dutch Bros so I can get this special treat.
Q. Where do you go to get pampered? What are your favorite treatments?
A. Honestly, I love being petted and greeted, but I am more focused on work. My favorite day is getting geared up for my shift and getting opportunities to get out of the car to help my patrol team.
Q. What else should we know about you?
A. Aside from being trained to find and apprehend bad guys/girls, I am also trained in the detection of narcotics. My commands are in German!
Q. Where were you adopted from?
A. According to my passport, I came from Slovakia. After receiving my initial training there, I was imported to the United States. I then received additional training from Spectrum K9 in the Bay Area with my handler/dad.
Q. Who is your human parent?
A. My dad and handler is Julian Herrera.
