By  0 Comments

Nikole Sarale, a fitness coach at Orangetheory Fitness®, sat down with HERLIFE Magazine recently to share her dedication to family and community.

HLM: How long have you lived here? What do you love most?
NS: I’m from Lodi, and I have lived in Stockton for the last nine years. What I love most about it is where it lies geographically. I find it fascinating how both beaches and mountains are all within
driving distance.

HLM: How is your heart inspired to serve the community?
NS: My heart is inspired to serve the community in areas of health, wellness and fitness. From owning businesses in the community that aid individuals’ journeys to live healthier lives.

HLM: What sparks joy for you?
NS: Hearing people’s stories about how fitness has impacted them sparks joy in my life. Spending quality with family and friends is also a vital role in my happiness.

HLM: Top three bucket list goals?
NS: Visiting Europe, evolving and providing knowledge to the community about health and wellness, and lastly seeing my kids grow up happy and healthy.

HLM: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
NS: The accomplishment that I am most proud of is maintaining my sobriety for over 12 years. Being sober has improved my overall health and allowed me to gain control over my life.

HLM: Can you describe a key event that had an impact on your life?
NS: A key event was becoming a coach at Orangetheory Fitness. I work to change people’s lives; however, what they do not realize is how much they have changed mine. Though this was a risky career change, having the support from my colleagues and members has positively impacted me on this journey.

HLM: How do you spend time outside work?
NS: Outside of work my time is best spent with my wonderful husband and kids. As a family, we enjoy activities such as skiing and working
out together.

HLM: What are you currently reading?
NS: #MaxOut Your Life: Strategies for Becoming an Elite Performer by Ed Mylett. It is a great read for those who are looking to become champions in all aspects of their lives.

HLM: Favorite food or dessert?
NS: My favorite snack is a protein power bowl from Nekter. My favorite food would have to be Mexican food and my favorite dessert is carrot cake.
