Just Sayin’

By  0 Comments

So much went into my wedding day. Hours of planning, buying and creating.

It was the day I dreamed of and worked so hard to put together. And you wanna know a little secret? I remember about five minutes of it, and not because I had too much to drink!

I guess it’s because of all the excitement and adrenaline? But I must not be the only bride to have ever felt that way because a friend gave me some advice the morning of our big day. I followed her suggestion and THAT is the reason I remember vividly the few minutes that I do.

She told me to take some time and stand off to the side of the action and just observe. Take a deep breath. Take it all in. Really process everything from the room full of people all gathered at this one time, for this one event, to the decorations to the dance floor.

She was so right and because I did that, I can close my eyes right now and I’m instantly transported back to one of the very best days of my entire life.

I’m passing that along to you, beautiful bride! As you plan your special day, don’t forget to take a moment to soak it all in. And, another quick piece of advice? Anything that doesn’t go just the way you plan it on your wedding day? Just remember, likely not a soul will even know. Try your best to relax, feel the love and soak up every ounce of happiness and joy.

Congratulations!
