If It’s Summer, It’s Denim!

By  0 Comments

Summer is right around the corner and the world is finally starting to open back up again. All of a sudden, those comfy leggings are not appropriate attire; were they really? So, what’s a girl to wear? I rounded up my favorite go-to spring and summer denim to make your wardrobe feel updated and elevated while still being comfortable!

Denim Shorts
Jean shorts are one of my go-to pieces in the summer because I can do so much with them. They can be casual enough to wear to the pool or dressed up, too. If you haven’t found the perfect jean short for you yet, give these a whirl.

Agolde
Relaxed fit, super-soft worn-in feeling and perfect to wear casual with a T-shirt or dressed up with a statement top, they’re my number 1 pick for jean shorts. Without the stretch, you may want to size up!

Madewell
If you’re looking for something a little bit longer, these Madewell shorts are for you. With a 4” inseam, they have that “just long enough” length that feels appropriate but still stylish. You will love the cotton stretch fabric as well.

Light-Colored Denim
Are your darker jeans feeling just a little too dark for summer, but you still want a jean option? Opt for a lighter wash, maybe even a little distressing or a raw hem.

Levi
The perfect straight leg jean for that cool girl out there that wants to look effortless. These jeans are also for the girl that doesn’t mind a button fly and doesn’t mind breaking them in with a few extra wears. Once you do break them in, they will be your best friend.

Madewell
These are another one of my favorite straight-leg jeans for everyday wear. They are super high waisted, offer quite a bit of stretch without looking like “stretchy jeans” and still give that chic vibe.

White Jeans
Everyone should have some kind of white jean in their wardrobe for spring and summer. They are a great alternative to shorts because they still feel light and airy but give you coverage.

Madewell
These are my go-to non-see-through white denim. I have tried them all. If you want a great white skinny and love a high-rise waist, these jeans are for you!

Rag and Bone
If optic white jeans are not for you but you are still lusting for something lighter, try an ecru pair. I love this cropped flare style and the color is super sophisticated. This color also rolls from summer right into fall. Perfect with sandals, sneakers and a bootie later on!
