Skincare advice for all ages

Keeping your skin looking youthful

How often should I receive professional skincare treatments?

  1. A solid skincare regimen is responsible for up to 80 percent of the changes you see in the quality of your skin. Daily use of cosmeceutical-grade products is key to visible results. For optimal skin maintenance, professional facials are recommended every three to four months. This length of time allows for a few natural skin cycles to take place. For more specialized results, a series of chemical peels or microdermabrasion can be done once or twice a year. These are cosmetic procedures that resurface the skin to combat photo-aging, restoring the skin’s youthful appearance in just a few treatments.

  1.  What treatments should I consider to reduce the appearance of blemishes, blackheads and wrinkles for more youthful-looking skin?
  2. Sunlighten Purifying Treatments utilize near infrared LED light to penetrate the skin just deeply enough to increase energy at the cellular level and stimulate collagen growth. A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy showed significant improvements in skin including reduction in wrinkles and crow’s feet, as well as improved elasticity, clarity and firmness after just 12 weeks of NIR LED therapy. Furthermore, the benefits of Sunlighten Purifying Treatments are received throughout the entire body, not just the face. I always recommend a Purifying Membership for anyone seeking results for body breakouts or just general anti-aging. HLM
