Tawni & Adam

By  0 Comments

Tawni and Adam Albers developed a friendship that led to love during their college years. They became engaged during a family outing intended for taking Christmas card photos, and were blessed to have both sets of their parents present to witness the proposal that Adam had carefully planned without Tawni’s knowledge.

The blissful couple tied the knot on May 16, 2015, in a formal ceremony at Rockland Community Church in Genesee, Colorado. Tawni chose Karlee Warren as Maid of Honor; bridesmaids were Cara Albers and Sophie Allen, with Teegan Warren serving as junior bridesmaid and Averee Warren as flower girl. Matthew Albers, served as Best Man, and groomsmen were Eric Warren and Danny Warren.

The bride wore a graceful sleeveless jeweled and appliquéd gown and a sheer floor-length, lace-edged veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of roses, lilies, daisies and larkspur. The groomsmen sported yellow socks that echoed their ties.

The reception followed at The Pines at Genesee. The room was beautifully decorated in a country rustic theme, with Mason jars containing daisies, larkspur and baby’s breath and the bridal bouquets as centerpieces, all illuminated by candles. At each place setting was an anchor representing that all present were anchored through the Lord; all of the anchors were handmade by Adam’s grandfather.

“We were so blessed that Adam’s entire family was able to come in from Florida, Ohio, California, Wisconsin and Texas. It was the perfect dream wedding that every girl dreams of as a child. And, of course, the best part was that we both got to marry the person whom we consider to be our best friend, each other!” HLM
