Chelsea and Stephen

A fun night out with friends became a lifetime love for Chelsea Marie Eaton and Stephen Wray Boyd when they met at Brothers Bar in downtown Denver.
“I spotted Stephen as we were leaving and wanted to say hi because he was so cute!” Chelsea smiles. “We instantly had a connection and exchanged numbers.” The couple officially started dating at the end of December 2011.
Chelsea, 26, is a study participant recruiter at Davita Clinical Research. Stephen, 25, is a training and support analyst at Passtime.

Stephen trusted that Cupid’s arrows would hit their mark as he devised a plan for his proposal at their favorite restaurant, The Melting Pot, on February 14, 2014. “Stephen had the engagement ring set in the flowers that were placed on the table,” reminisces Chelsea. “Shortly after we were seated, Stephen asked, ‘Will you marry me?’ as I spotted the ring.” Of course, I said ‘Yes!’ And The Melting Pot has become a tradition for us every Valentine’s Day from that day forward!”

Chelsea and Stephen have set their wedding date for July 2, 2016, in an intimate mountain wedding at The Wedgewood on Boulder Creek in Boulder, Colorado. “We love living in Colorado and a venue surrounded by mountains is perfect for our special day,” shares Chelsea. “The planning process is very exciting, but I’m most excited about choosing the flower arrangements and cake tasting! Also, we can’t wait for the big day and our honeymoon, which will be in Maui.” HLM
