Le Bal de Ballet Reception

Le Bal de Ballet Committee of the Denver Ballet Guild proudly presented 66 honorees at its annual Announcement Reception on September 20 at the Cherry Hills Country Club. Along with their parents, the 32 Debutantes and 34 Young Men of Distinction began the evening with hors d’oeuvres and socializing while a string quartet played against a beautiful mountain backdrop befitting the 2016 theme, Mountain Majesty. Now in its 48th year, Le Bal de Ballet honors high school seniors who are selected for the program based on their outstanding achievements in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service. The first Bal de Ballet was held in 1969 at Cherry Hills Country Club, and the tradition has continued while the program has grown. Le Bal de Ballet is the signature fundraiser for the Denver Ballet Guild and its many programs supporting dance in Colorado. For more information, please visit denverballetguild.org. HLM
