I Heart Fridays in Cherry Creek North

By  0 Comments

On Friday, February 5, Cherry Creek North and the American Heart Association kicked off I Heart Fridays with National Wear Red Day and the Cherry Creek North Chef Cook-Off. National Wear Red Day is an important part of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women goal to build awareness and urge women to take action to better their health. Cherry Creek North invited patrons to support these efforts by wearing red on February 5 and enjoying discounts at participating locations throughout the district. Several locations collected donations for the organization. Also on February 5, the Cherry Creek North Chef Cook-Off featured Blue Island Oyster Bar and Del Frisco’s Grille cooking up heart-healthy tacos. Chef Daniel Kane from Del Frisco’s Grille prepared an ahi tuna taco, while Chef DJ Nagle from Blue Island Oyster Bar took the edgy route and prepared a swordfish taco. The public voted, and Del Frisco’s Grille took the prize for heart-healthiest taco. I Heart Fridays continues during February.
