Inspired Closets: Creating Organized Order from Chaos

By  0 Comments

If you’re struggling for a gift for your special lady on Mother’s Day, let the impressive staff at Inspired Closets Kansas City wrap up a new, beautifully organized master closet, pantry, home office, entertainment center, laundry room and more for her.

“Our business objective is to provide high-quality, custom, organizational designs for homeowners in the Kansas City area,” noted Christine Fee, co-owner. “These are custom spaces inspired by you and designed and built by us.”

See It
Inspired Closets Kansas City, 14119 Marshall Drive, Lenexa, Kansas, features an impressive 4,000-square-foot showroom of organizational products and designs manufactured by the Stow Company. This HGTV-celebrity-designed showroom allows you to see firsthand layouts for a master closet, children’s closet, reach-in, Murphy bed unit, laundry facility, entertainment center and pantry. Residential or commercial customers for new construction or remodels are invited to walk in or set up a free in-home consultation.

“Our team is trained to put the customer first and take the stress out of their project. Our mission is to calm the chaos of everyday life,” stated Christine. “Like it or not, your environment does play a role in your ability to think clearly and be productive, and this is especially critical in the space where many of us start and end the day. We design organizational systems to fit our customers’ needs rather than trying to fit modular components into the customer’s space.”

Inspired Closets Kansas City was launched in November 2018 as a family-owned, military veteran-owned company focused on integrity and great value for its customers. Inspired Closets is the Kansas City dealer for the Stow Company, which has been manufacturing high-quality organizational systems for more than 35 years. It provides custom-designed organization solutions that include closets, pantries, home offices, laundry rooms, Murphy beds, entertainment systems and garages. Christine is proud to share that Inspired Closets does not use subcontractors for installation. Eight full-time employees have been thoroughly trained in product and installation techniques. Six others drive the administration and sales sides of the business.

Imagine It
Christine adds that her workforce truly listens and designs a customer’s space to fit his or her needs and wants. “Together, we talk about how you use your closet, what you own, what works and what doesn’t work in your closet,” stated Christine. “Most importantly, we determine what inspires you the most about the look and feel of these areas.”

Inspired Closets’ five-step process guides you through the progression of gaining your inspired space. First, customers can call upon the free, in-home consultation with a highly trained designer. The design of the space and its preparation for construction follow. Then comes the installation by highly trained pros. Finally, all you need to do is love your closet or organizational system.

“We partner with homeowners throughout the entire custom closet journey. We take the time to understand how they use their current space, learn what works and doesn’t work and explore what look and feel they want their new space to have,” she noted. “Next, we create a design that reflects the homeowner’s wants and needs, sharing recommendations for materials, hardware and accessories too. We share those designs in a 3D rendering from state-of-the-art software.” Christine adds that these renderings can be shared immediately in the client’s home with several different options to consider. By being on-site, designers can help the client “see” the final product right in their home.

Install It
Christine cautions that the hardest part of this change is the homeowners emptying their belongings from their closet. But Inspired Closets has that covered for you too. Staging equipment provided by the company, such as garment racks and storage boxes, will make it easy to pack away things but also have the ability to access during installation. While the staff can’t help you downsize your wardrobe of the pieces you no longer wear or need to keep, they will oversee all other segments of this journey to an incredibly organized space. “We do everything we can to help you prepare. We manage the removal of your existing closet system and prepare your walls for installation, and we can even help you find a painter,” she commented. “This is why when we promise that we take care of it all, we mean it.”

No matter if it’s Mother’s Day, a birthday or a “just because” day, doesn’t your special lady deserve to be inspired as she starts her morning with a new master closet design? Call on Christine and her staff at Inspired Closets Kansas City to design the perfect organizational system for your home and her.

“We are the first closet or organization company built around customer research data. The response from these customers is overwhelming because they were underwhelmed by the entire process from beginning to end,” said Christine. “This has allowed us to develop a process and products built entirely around our customer’s needs.”
