Permission Granted: Dress to Impress Holiday 2021!

By  0 Comments

The holidays are right around the corner and I cannot wait! After a very uneventful holiday season in 2020, I am ready to “do it up” in every way that I can. Sharing time with family and friends is one of my very favorite things to do during the holidays and this year I am going to be dressed to the nines! Here are a couple of ideas for holiday attire for every occasion you might have coming up. Happy holiday season!

Holiday Party At Home
Getting together with some friends at their home is typically a more casual setting. You want to look polished without overdoing it. Denim and a classic cashmere sweater is the perfect pairing. Any cashmere sweater will be comfortable and looks luxe without looking stuffy.

Night Out With Friends
A night out with friends calls for a little bit of sparkle this holiday season. Don’t go overboard in head-to-toe sparkles and stick to a neutral color. Balance it out by pairing a statement sparkle top with a pair of your favorite jeans. Want a little pop of holidays? Add a festive red or green shoe!

To The Nutcracker
One of my absolute favorite memories of the holidays was going to the Kansas City Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. Every year my mom would shop with me to find the perfect Christmas dress for the occasion. As an adult, I still dress up for this event and I’m still always in a dress. This year a midi sweater dress is perfect. Pair with a pair of knee boots for an updated style.
