Creating Your Perfect Home and Nursery

By  0 Comments

Q: With so many online resources out there, why should I invest in an interior designer?

A: While using an interior designer is an investment, it is an extremely worthwhile one. A designer can help you navigate your personal style and find quality pieces that will truly reflect your taste and last for years to come. They will also push you outside of your comfort zone and help you expand your taste with one-of-a-kind pieces, art, window treatment and accessories. At Jorjy, we can help you create a home that is truly your own and will withstand the test of time.

Q: At what point should I start designing my child’s nursery and where do I start?

A: At Lauren Alexandra, we are here to help you through the process of designing a room you and your baby will enjoy for years. As furniture can take as long as 12 to 16 weeks from order to delivery, we feel the sooner you start designing, the better. Coordinating all the elements that make your dream nursery come to life takes time and we are here to walk you through window treatments, art, accessories and everything in between. Having a baby is truly a miracle and we want to make sure you enjoy all the steps along the way.

After Pamela DiCapo opened Lauren Alexandra, her first brick and mortar shop in Kansas City’s historic Brookside Shops in 1994, it quickly became the most sought-after kids and baby boutique in the city. Initially, Pamela’s endeavors were centered around décor for nurseries and kids rooms, but she soon evolved the shop into one that carries everything under the sun that any child and parent would want. Fast forward 25 years, and she has taken her venture to a new level with Jorjy, an interior design and home furnishings store. Next door to Lauren Alexandra, Jorjy attracts the homeowner looking for something they haven’t seen in Kansas City, with lovely, well-curated offerings and design services.
