CASA Celebrates 15 Years

CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties celebrated its 15-year anniversary of service to abused and neglected children at their Champions for Children event on April 7. Executive Director Leah Varnell said, “What we have accomplished in these last 15 years is amazing and has helped a great deal, but what I’m more focused on is our potential to do more in the future.” CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties’ mission is to provide trained volunteers to advocate in court for the safety and well-being of abused and neglected children.
